Focus on the Masters presents For the Love of Art on Saturday, August 25th from 6pm to 10pm at Four points by Sheraton in Ventura. The event will support Focus on the Maters’ community art enrichment, including their award-winning Learning to See Outreach that brings quality arts education to schools and community centers. Honored at the event will be longtime FOTM patrons, John and Cherie Brant. The Gala will reflect what FOTM is known for: bringing arts education and arts patrons together For the Love of Art. Gala attendees will have the opportunity to win an original painting by Gail Pidduck while enjoying wonderful music, food, wine and a live silent auction. Foster VC Kids asks, if you had the chance to help a local child or youth feel safe, cared for and supported, would you do it? Foster VC Kids and Child Hope Services invites you to an informational and inspirational Foster Care Summit on Saturday, August 11 from 8:00am to 1:00pm at Calvary Chapel, 1925 Eastman Avenue in Oxnard. This wonderful summit is a great way to find out how you can provide the stability and support for children and youth in care, in need – either by becoming a resource, foster or adoptive family OR by supporting those who do. There are many ways to help. Come learn how you can be the positive difference for Ventura County’s children and youth. Join Foster VC Kids on Saturday, August 11 at the free, Foster Care Summit.
